Sungrow SG125CX-P2: the perfect inverter for larger projects
The SG125CX-P2 inverter is the perfect solution for larger commercial installations requiring optimisers or rapid shutdown. Twelve MPP trackers allow you to connect up to 24 MC4-EVO2 inputs for panel strings with an input current of 15 A (panels over 500 W). The inverter has a 1.4 DC/AC ratio, enabling a panel input of up to 175 kW. Sungrow understands that as the size of the installation increases, so do the demands on system safety. IP66 protection, C5 corrosion protection and, for example, advanced arc fault protection (AFCI 2.0) are thus becoming the new standard. The cornerstone of inverter communication is the DataLogger1000 (included in the COM100E kit), which allows for the parallel connection of up to 25 inverters linked via RS485. You can easily manage the system using the iSolarCloud app in Czech, through which both commissioning and further settings are carried out, including firmware updates and overflow prevention. The app is considered one of the best in the entire industry, saving you both time and money. If you require an energy meter for your installation, you can choose between the Sungrow DTSD1352 6A and the Janitza UMG604, both of which are officially recommended by the manufacturer.
The inverter is compatible with Sungrow SP600S optimisers.

For communication between inverters in a parallel configuration and the Smart meter, it is necessary to use the data logger set, which is included in the COM100E kit.
It is now possible to connect up to 5 CX-P2 grid-connected inverters with up to 8 SHT hybrid inverters and SBH battery storage. This combination is suitable, for example, for retrofitting an existing PV system with battery storage.
