The new generation of highly efficient Vertex N solar panels boasts the outstanding characteristics of N-type cells, such as high efficiency, high bifaciality (up to 30% extra output), a low temperature coefficient and slow degradation. Vertex N panels are designed to reduce the levelised cost of electricity (LCOE). In terms of the technologies used, Trina is not holding back and is entering the era of TOPCon cells with N-type silicon. The state-of-the-art M12 solar cells (210 mm) have lower resistance, high power output and high efficiency (23 per cent). The minimal temperature coefficient (-0.29%/°C) ensures better output at high temperatures, whilst resistance to degradation is underlined by a 30-year performance warranty. The panel’s service life is guaranteed by its dual-glass design, which protects the solar cells and thus reduces the risk of damage from natural factors, such as the formation of microcracks and the effects of moisture.
