Sungrow SG33CX-P2 – the perfect inverter for your projects

The upgraded CX series of inverters is the ideal choice for medium and large-scale commercial installations. Four MPP trackers allow you to connect up to 6 MC4 EVO2 inputs for panel strings with an input current of 15 A (panels over 500 W). The inverter has a DC/AC ratio of 1.4, enabling a panel input of up to 46.2 kWp. Sungrow recognises that as the size of an installation increases, so do the demands on system safety. IP66 protection, C5 corrosion protection and, for example, arc-fault protection are therefore becoming the new standard. The cornerstone of inverter communication is the COM100E data logger, which allows for the parallel connection of up to 25 inverters linked via RS485. You can easily manage the system using the iSolarCloud app in Czech, through which both commissioning and further configuration take place, including firmware updates and overflow prevention. The app is regarded as one of the best in the entire industry, saving you both time and money. If you require an energy meter for your installation, you can choose between the Sungrow DTSD1352 6A and the Janitza UMG604, both of which are officially recommended by the manufacturer.

The inverter is on the list of approved devices in accordance with PPDS conditions. The manufacturing module protocol can be found in the Downloads section.

To enable communication between inverters in a parallel configuration and the Smart meter, you must use the data logger kit, which is included in the COM100E set.

It is now possible to connect up to 5 CX-P2 grid-connected inverters with up to 8 SHT hybrid inverters and SBH battery storage. This combination is suitable, for example, for retrofitting an existing PV system with battery storage.
