Euronergy 420W ultra-light solar panel weighing 5.2 kg
Is your roof unable to support conventional photovoltaic panels? No problem for Euronergy panels. The panels use an organic polymer composite that replaces the typical front glass cover layer, making them extremely lightweight. The patented polymer composite material is durable and capable of withstanding high temperatures and harsh weather conditions – including exposure to UV radiation (equivalent to 25 years), PID, salt spray and ammonia corrosion tests. Unlike other lightweight panels, the composite’s surface is not textured; it is perfectly smooth and ensures good self-cleaning properties.
The panel is 75% lighter and up to 95% thinner. The quick-bonding process requires no screw holes or mounting hardware, which significantly simplifies the installation process. Backside-contact cells deliver excellent performance even in low light conditions and have a very low temperature coefficient of –0.24% per 1 °C. The panel’s flexibility allows for installation on curved roofs. Euronergy is ideally suited to various commercial applications where glass panels cannot be used. Its features and build quality are underlined by a 15-year product warranty and a 25-year performance warranty.
The panel can be bonded directly to the roof membrane, but we recommend using PVC profiles as a substructure. A summary table of the accessories (profiles, primer, adhesive) required for installation can be found in the Downloads section.
