K2 S-Dome 6.10 in an express set, 1.45 m long
The base rail for the S-Dome 6.10 system from K2 is suitable for flat, south-facing roofs. The Express Set ensures maximum speed and ease of installation. The rail is made from high-quality aluminium and, thanks to its increased permitted spacing, can accommodate panels up to 1,170 mm wide, covering the vast majority of commonly available panels. The base rail set is supplied fully assembled, including the end plate, Dome SD and Mat S pad, which significantly reduces installation time. The Mat S pad is made from EPDM and absorbs and evenly distributes pressure on the roof. High friction coefficients reduce the load. S-Dome denotes a south (S)-facing installation, whilst 6.10 indicates a 10° panel pitch.
To install panels wider than 1060 mm, the EndPlate must be moved by 8 mm. This is an official procedure approved by K2 Systems, which does not affect the warranty; see the attachment in the ‘Files’ section
